Tour Overview

Experience the very best of India's history, culture, and architecture with our comprehensive 5-Day Golden Triangle Tour, featuring a special stop at the hidden gem of Abhaneri. Covering the legendary cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, this itinerary is the ultimate introduction to the subcontinent. By spreading the journey over five days, you are guaranteed a relaxed and immersive travel experience, allowing you ample time to explore world-famous monuments, wander through colorful local bazaars, and savor the distinct culinary flavors of each region. From the moment you arrive, you will be escorted in a private, air-conditioned vehicle by an expert chauffeur, ensuring your utmost comfort and safety across the entire circuit.

Your journey begins in the national capital, Delhi, a city that beautifully bridges the gap between a glorious past and a dynamic present. After exploring its towering minarets, grand mosques, and colonial boulevards, you will travel to Agra, the historical seat of the Mughal Empire. Here, you will be mesmerized by the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal and the sheer scale of the Agra Fort. Continuing westward, you will make two fascinating detours: the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri and the spectacular Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri, an architectural marvel of ancient India. Your final two days are spent in Jaipur, the vibrant 'Pink City,' where you will discover majestic hilltop fortresses, opulent palaces, and rich Rajput traditions before returning to Delhi. This 5-day tour is the quintessential Indian holiday.

Tour Itinerary

Your 5-day adventure begins with a warm welcome by our representative at the New Delhi Airport or your hotel. After a brief orientation, you will start your sightseeing in New Delhi. Visit the towering Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the serene Lotus Temple, and the magnificent Humayun's Tomb. Later, enjoy a scenic drive past the India Gate, Parliament House, and the President's Estate. Check into your hotel in Delhi and relax for the evening.

After a delicious breakfast, check out of your hotel and dive into the bustling energy of Old Delhi. Visit the grand Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and enjoy a thrilling rickshaw ride through the narrow, vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk and the famous spice market. Drive past the historic Red Fort and visit Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, embark on a comfortable 3.5-hour drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival, check in to your Agra hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Wake up early for the ultimate highlight of your trip: a guided sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Watch as the pristine white marble changes color in the soft morning light, creating an unforgettable spectacle. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then check out and visit the massive Agra Fort, a stunning red sandstone fortress. Begin your drive toward the Pink City of Jaipur. En route, make two incredible stops: first at Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved, abandoned 16th-century Mughal capital. A bit further down the highway, stop at Abhaneri village to witness the spectacular Chand Baori, a 9th-century stepwell featuring 3,500 perfectly symmetrical steps descending 13 stories into the earth. Arrive in Jaipur by evening, check into your hotel, and rest.

Start your day with breakfast before heading out to explore the royal heritage of Jaipur. Your first stop is the spectacular Amber Fort, located on a rugged hill just outside the city. You can choose to walk up or take an optional jeep/elephant ride to the main courtyard. Next, stop for photos at the beautiful Jal Mahal (Water Palace), which sits elegantly in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, a massive complex blending Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, and the Jantar Mantar, an incredible stone observatory. End your sightseeing with a photo stop at the iconic, honeycomb-like Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check out of your hotel. You have the morning free to explore Jaipur's famous local bazaars, such as Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, which are perfect for picking up souvenirs like traditional textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. After lunch, you will begin your comfortable 5-hour drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi by late afternoon or early evening, our driver will drop you off at the airport for your onward flight or at your preferred hotel, concluding a spectacular 5-day Golden Triangle journey.
